Since its inception in 1987, Devereux Florida has readily responded to
the needs of the community with high quality, comprehensive programs in the
areas of behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and
child welfare.
Our services have grown to meet Florida’s needs, from a handful of services
in Brevard County to nearly 50 programs throughout the state. Each talented member
of nearly 1,000 Devereux Florida employees shares our mission and core values,
and is dedicated to helping inspire hope and empower lives.
Admissions/Referrals
The Central Referral Unit (CRU) is a team of dedicated staff available to provide assistance with a referral to the Devereux Florida programs. With over 40 programs across the state of Florida, and services that range from residential to foster care to outpatient, the CRU team is able to provide our referrers with "one-stop shopping" and ensure the referral is directed to the most appropriate program, eliminating the need for multiple referral packets!
