Community Based Education in Nurturing Parenting

The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills. The program is designed to empower individuals and families with new knowledge, beliefs, strategies and skills to make good and healthy lifestyle choices. Nurturing Parenting promotes the growth and development of positive parenting traits, qualities, and characteristics.

An evidenced-based parent program, developed in the late 1970s, Nurturing Parenting Programs encourage 100% non-spanking child-rearing skills and are founded on the basic beliefs of caring for self, others, and the environment.
