Family Support & Visitation Center

The Family Support and Visitation Center (FSVC) offers supervised visitation for children who are in state custody and have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect and/or abandonment. The FSVC provides a safe, neutral, child-friendly environment in which children can maintain and develop their relationship with family members while they are in the custody of the state. The FSVC provides resources and support for the preservation and enhancement of families by operating a facility that accommodates foster care visitations and educational resources; collaborating with family service agencies to formulate programs for parents; and informing parents of available community resources.

The FSVC benefits from the participation of trained volunteers from the Foster Grandparent Association, interns from local colleges and universities, and volunteers from the community. The FSVC also receives funding support from the Junior League of Greater Orlando and the Heart of Florida United Way.
