"Ready? S.E.T. Go!"
Devereux Cleo Wallace Work Experience Program
Overview

The Work Experience Program offered at Devereux Cleo Wallace is intended to provide student employees with meaningful work experiences that will provide them with opportunities for continuous growth and development of employability skills. The program will ultimately prepare our student employees for position in the community either during their course of treatment on campus or upon discharge from this program.

Student Employees complete a “Ready? S.E.T. Go!” Student Employee Training Program that offers students training in job seeking, interview preparation, employability and career growth modules. In addition, student employees complete a Careers Interest Inventory and an Independent Living Skills Assessment. Students build an individualized vocational portfolio that includes assessments and training documentation in addition to sample completed applications, resume, cover letter, job descriptions, and letters of recommendation.
