Providing Emotional & Behavioral Support Devereux Day School serves students with moderate to severe behavioral and emotional needs by providing a safe and secure environment and an atmosphere that allows students to grow personally and educationally.
About Us
Devereux is a national behavioral health nonprofit agency who has been educating children for over 97 years.
Devereux Day School has been serving families in Arizona for over 40 years. Our secure campus, serving children ages 6 to 21 with behavioral and emotional needs, is located in the heart of Scottsdale on 10 acres of land, donated to our foundation by the Richard Raskin Family.

Enrollment
Referrals to the program are made by the student’s school district once all resources in the district have been exhausted and the student needs an educational environment like Devereux Day School in order to achieve academic success. Private payment is also accepted.
Enrollment Criteria
The Devereux Day School will support male and females ages 6-21 who may exhibit:
- Sudden Mood Changes
- Isolative, Withdrawn Behavior
- Aggression
- Self-Harming Behavior
- Anxiety
- Easily Frustrated or Angered
- Academic Difficulties
- Learning Disabilities
- History of Trauma
Devereux Day School also serves students who require a step-down from a hospital or residential treatment setting. | |
