Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health appoints Carl E. Clark II as seventh president and chief executive officer in 107-year-history
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the oldest, largest, and most-respected nonprofit providers of behavioral healthcare in the nation, announced its Board of Trustees has appointed Carl E. Clark II
as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

March has been recognized as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month since 1987 when President Ronald Reagan issued a public proclamation urging Americans to provide individuals with developmental disabilities “the encouragement and opportunities they need to lead productive lives and to achieve their full potential.”
At Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, we are unrelenting advocates for individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, and strongly believe this population can make a positive difference in their communities, if given the opportunity to unlock their human potential.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), recent estimates show that about one in six children in the U.S., between the ages of three and 17 (or about 15 percent), have one or more developmental disabilities. Developmental disabilities are defined as impairments in physical, learning, language or behavior areas.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Colorado was recently awarded a grant of more than $6,500 to help purchase playground equipment for children with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona received more than 300 “sweet cases” from the nonprofit Together We Rise, in partnership with Toyota Financial Services.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania’s Children’s Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC) has been awarded the Education and Programming for Integrated Care (EPIC) designation by West Chester University.
