Devereux Colorado specializes in providing individualized care for children and adolescents that have significant mental health and behavioral needs. We provide intensive residential and day treatment services to both males and females ages 12 to 21. Devereux Colorado has been successful in treating these clients because we have a comprehensive treatment model, substantial experience, and quality programs, staff, and facilities.

The young people referred to Devereux Colorado have typically been referred to us after their current placement has been disrupted due to aggressive behaviors, running away, self injurious behaviors or suicidal ideation, substance abuse problems, thought disorders, or sexually inappropriate behaviors. Often, clients present with multiple treatment needs. Devereux Colorado is able to provide them with the intensive psychiatric treatment they need within a highly structured and therapeutic setting.

Youth admitted to Devereux Colorado must meet the criteria for a DSM-IV diagnosis and have mental health needs that are best-served in a residential setting. Every client is individually assessed for appropriateness of admission to the residential program.
