Paul LeBuffe, Director of DCRC The American Educational Research Association (AERA), is the largest national interdisciplinary research association devoted to the scientific study of education and learning. In March 2016, AERA elected Paul LeBuffe, Director of the Devereux Center for Resilient Children, to serve as Program Chair-Elect of the Social and Emotional Learning Special Interest Group. Special Interest Groups play a very important role in supporting the mission of AERA and enhancing the vitality of the education research community. Paul’s role as a SIG officer will help further AERA’s commitment to improving education research.
