Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Hosts 19th Annual Hope Gala

More than 500 supporters expected at this year’s “Secret Garden” event,
raising critical funds for local individuals living with emotional,
behavioral and cognitive differences

Villanova, PA – Oct. 3, 2018 – On Saturday, November 10, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest providers of behavioral healthcare, will host its annual Hope Gala at Moulin in Sherman Mills (Philadelphia). This year’s “Secret Garden” theme evokes the uniqueness, beauty and potential of the individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences Devereux serves in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

For the past 19 years, Devereux’s Hope Gala has presented a spectacular evening for its guests, with once-in-a-lifetime experiences and other extravagant items offered via live and silent auctions. The thoughtful décor and specially crafted food and drinks are designed to transport attendees for the night, this year, to a beautiful garden setting. Most importantly, this black-tie event – expected to draw more than 500 guests – raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support programs and services provided by Devereux Pennsylvania for more than 3,500 children, adolescents and adults in the region.

“Every year at the Hope Gala, we are overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our attendees who give so willingly to help Devereux continue to advance its mission, which is to unlock and nurture human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “The Gala offers a fantastic opportunity to thank our donors, friends and supporters with an extraordinary event, and to share with them the incredibly positive impact their support is making in our communities.”

Devereux Pennsylvania’s 2018 Hope Gala is presented through the collaboration of the Devereux Hope Gala Committee, the Devereux Pennsylvania Advisory Board and more than 20 corporate sponsors, including presenting sponsor Independence Blue Cross.

Individual tickets are $400. Limited Young Friends tickets – for those 40 and under – also are available for $150. Tables, sponsorships and program advertisements are still available. Please contact Shamra Spencer via email at SSpencer@Devereux.org for more information.
