Make a Student's Future Brighter and Your Tax Burden Lighter

Devereux is privileged to be an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) for Transition to Work educational initiatives, under the auspices of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. This initiative, which is administrated by Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, authorizes the award of tax credits to businesses that make contributions to EIOs like Devereux. The tax credit is equal to 75 percent of the contribution, but can go as high as 90 percent if a business commits to the same contribution two consecutive years, up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year.

New for Fiscal Year 2014: Businesses that have fulfilled a two-year commitment can reapply for another two-year commitment beginning on May 15, 2013. Contact us for more information.

“Meridian Bank was very happy to support Devereux with a contribution through the EITC program. We could give a meaningful amount of money and incur only a 10% net cost through the program, which is fantastic.”
