Devereux Red Hook Beautifies Campus

Annual Beautification Day kicked off May 24th, 2013

The rain and cold could not deter our staff and students from getting outdoors and showing pride in our campus. Friday May 24th and Saturday May 25th marked the weekend of our annual Campus Beautification day. As sometimes happens, mother nature did not want to cooperate with our plans and gave us rain, wind and cold weather. Undeterred staff and students pushed ahead and began cleaning up gardens, planting containers and tending to the campus grounds after a long winter. We kicked off the day with planting flowers grown in our own greenhouse and enjoyed an indoor BBQ lunch. The work has been continuing over the past week as we take advantage of any nice weather we can find. We are very appreciative of the hard work and dedication that has been put into taking care of our campus community.
