Washington, CT - The Glenholme tennis team took to the court in spectacular form for the start of the 2012 season. Tenacity, teamwork, and a love of the game were evident as the Glenholme players triumphed in every match against sporting rival Maplebrook School.

As with other sports, the game of tennis provides physical, mental, and social benefits. Vigorous participation not only enhances one's athletic ability, but also reduces tension and improves self-esteem. As a sport of the mind, tennis requires focus, concentration, and confidence. As a physical sport, tennis teaches strength, stamina, flexibility, and coordination. Through positive social interactions both on and off the court, tennis players also learn the importance of good sportsmanship and develop a sense of camaraderie with their teammates.

Congratulations to the Glenholme tennis team on this incredible victory!
