Washington, CT - Make no mistake, Glenholme’s got talent! From high notes to humor, Glenholme's gifted singers, dancers, musicians, actors, and artists shone during this year’s Student-Staff Talent Show on Wednesday, February 8 in The Center for the Arts.

The seventeen act show, featuring many veteran performers and a few new artists, was emceed by Ms. Therault, Max, and Ross, who kept the audience delightfully entertained between acts. Performances included numbers from popular shows and movies, such as The King and I, The Fantasticks, Glee, The Addams Family, and Aladdin, and songs by recording artists, such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Train, Martina McBride, Eric Clapton, and Celine Dion. As the event neared conclusion, a series of improvisational skits pairing students and staff members generated roaring laughter and kept the audience members on the edge of their seats.

By performing in front of the Glenholme community, students share their talents and develop confidence in their abilities. The Arts program at Glenholme allows students with special needs to take chances in a safe and supportive environment, where their creative efforts and successes are genuinely celebrated.
