Washington, CT - On September 7, students and staff excitedly gathered in The Center for the Arts for the annual Back to School Assembly. Glenholme’s Director of Education, Ms. Murphy, welcomed the students back to campus, spoke about the importance of a strong school community, and encouraged the students to have another successful and productive year. Ms. Murphy also went over changes and updates to the school day schedule (all students will now eat lunch together) and discussed new opportunities for students in academics, technology, on-line learning, the Arts, athletics, and the equestrian and culinary programs.

In the school house, students happily reconnected with friends and teachers, and introduced themselves to new faces. Glenholme Executive Director Maryann Campbell stopped by to visit each classroom, and even led a few fun group activities in the gymnasium during a P.E. class!

The 2011-2012 school year follows an incredible summer of creative afternoon camp activities, countless off-campus adventures, and an outstanding student production of “The Wizard of Oz.”
