Over the past year, The Shops at Devereux have been working alongside The Barnes Foundation to provide items for the institution’s Gallery Shop, which is located in Merion, PA, with plans to relocate to Center City, Philadelphia in 2012.
The Barnes Foundation Gallery Shop staff worked alongside
staff from The Shops in order to produce apparel items like
silk-screened t-shirts, embroidered polo shirts and embroidered
hats. There was also collaboration to design a custom keychain
and magnet.
These items have proven to be top sellers in the Gallery Shop
and have provided the men and women at The Shops with
increased opportunities to learn new techniques and skills in
their work areas.
