Washington, CT - It was another special night for Glenholme when parents, faculty, and supporters gathered for the Live Auction event at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. The excitement began when Tracy Morgan, star of Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, arrived as an honored guest, and three special parents were presented with awards acknowledging their tireless efforts and many contributions to the Glenholme community. After everyone enjoyed a delicious meal, parent Mary Lou Cordaro gave a heartfelt and powerful speech about the impact Glenholme has had on her and her son's lives.

When the auction got under way, there was an incredible selection of trips, tours, adventures, and honors up for grabs to the highest bidder. Tracy Morgan took up the microphone to personally auction off several items, including a pair of exclusive tickets to the season finale of Saturday Night Live. Throughout the night, he performed some of his favorite jokes, autographed T-shirts for the auction, and playfully bid for a few of the items against his friend, David O. Russell.

While the results were being tallied, the president of the Development Board, Rick Doucette, brought the crowd to their feet with an impassioned speech about his son's experience at Glenholme, and three additional parent awards were presented, including the coveted "Parents of the Year."

Two days of humor, emotion, unprecedented celebrity excitement, and incredible generosity resulted in another extremely successful Parents' Weekend, with over $220,000 raised for The Center for the Arts Campaign.
