Chandler was captured while she enjoyed the luxuries of her executive office.
Washington, CT - Glenholme experienced a pleasant change of power when Chandler stepped up as the new Head of School on Wednesday April 13. From the morning assembly to the evening activities, the Head School set the rules for the day. As a strong decision-maker, Chandler competently addressed the morning assembly with a clear voice and won over the hearts of students and staff by imaginatively exercising her new executive powers, which included relaxed attire for staff and students and special school day functions including movie-viewings, a taste-bud tantalizing lunch menu and go-kart activities.

Through out the day, the new Head of School met with staff across campus, attended important telephone calls and trekked to meetings across school grounds with the aid of the executive golf cart. It was certainly a busy day for the head of school, who some how managed to find time to dine with students during second lunch.

As the day wrapped up, she remarked to her staff, “This was the best day ever.”
And the students and staff of Glenholme could not agree more.
