Washington, CT - The months of practice have certainly paid off for the students of The Glenholme School’s Theater Arts Program. This cast of extremely dedicated and talented young people received rave reviews for their delivery of two sensational performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. in mid-March to a full house. Their impeccable portrayal of the dancing flatware, menacing wolves and singing furniture completely captured their audience with the thrills and chills of a beloved fairy tale about two very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

In all over 40 students were involved in this incredible production from performers, choreographers, designers, crew and musical support; a significant accomplishment given the modest population of the school. The result was the surge of rave reviews from their audience, including students and their families as well as faculty and friends of Glenholme. One parent summed it up best when she said, “Wow! This is no ordinary high school performance. Simply incredible.”
