Washington, CT - Each year The Glenholme School’s Summer Program invites new students to join the present student population for the opportunity to expand their horizons through the Glenholme milieu. As an exceptional learning environment for students with special needs, ages 10 to 18, the Summer Program incorporates morning academics with an elaborate array of afternoon activities designed to invigorate the mind, body and spirit.

The 2011 Summer Program commences on July 5 and concludes August 19, with a minimum enrollment of three weeks. The many summer activities, which are available to all summer participants, include a wide array of customary on-campus activities, as well as “travel camps.” A sampling of the on-campus activities includes the arts, drama, music, team sports, go-karts, equestrian program, and community service projects such as the Judea Community Garden. The “travel camps” may engage students off campus in venues such as Cape Cod, Mystic Seaport, Williamsburg PA, golf adventures, a western equestrian experience at a traditional dude ranch, tent camping trips for boys and girls, and much more.

Visit www.glenholmesummerprogram.org to see all the excitement that happens on campus during July and August. From academics and the Arts to sports and go-kart, you can see it all in the new viewer-friendly interactive website. The Admissions Office is also available to answer your questions, admissions@theglenholmeschool.org or 860-868-7377.
