Washington, CT - The entire Glenholme community joined together in late December in celebration of the holiday concert aptly themed “Just Believe.” After a decade of faith and determination, the annual Holiday Concert of 2010 marked a joyous moment for students, family members, friends and faculty of the school as the students’ first formal performance in the newly completed Center for the Arts.

This year the concert incorporated several moving solos, ensembles and instrumental pieces in additional to a spectacular selection of holiday songs from the full chorus. The amazing efforts, positive energy and commitment of the choral performers and instrumentalists were evidenced in their astounding performance. With a full house of onlookers, their voices and instruments were strong, confident and true throughout the entire concert.

The performance concluded to a thunderous applause from the audience which quickly became a standing ovation; an incredibly moving moment in Glenholme history. It is truly inspiring to witness the sense of achievement the students experienced by performing in an authentic theatre setting provided by the Center for the Arts. We will continue to watch these wondrous effects with great interest as the preparation for the next student performance in the Center for the Arts is already under way. Watch for more news in the spring of 2011.
