Washington, CT - Glenholme Development has partnered with Great Escapes by Marique Travel in Bellmore, NY to offer another spectacular cruise fundraiser. Monique Costable, owner of Great Escapes and parent of a current Glenholme student, has made special arrangements to coordinate this opportunity to enjoy a quality vacation with family and friends aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Dawn while supporting the arts at Glenholme. For every paid passenger, $100 will be donated directly to the Center for the Arts Campaign.

The details of the fundraiser cruise include sailing aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Dawn round-trip from New York to Bermuda, August 22nd thru August 29th, 2010, a scheduled vacation week for Glenholme. Fares start at $1,009 per person based on double occupancy including taxes and fees. Third and fourth passengers in the cabin will received a discounted rate. An initial deposit of $250.00 per person is due by April 1, 2010 with final payment required by June 1, 2010.

The Glenholme School, a Devereux Center, is an exceptional boarding school for students with special needs, which offers an individually prescribed learning environment with a steadfast academic curriculum. Using our effective individualized services, we apply a positive behavior support model focused on development of social skills and lifelong strategies for success. The school’s milieu therapy addresses varying levels of academic, social and special needs development in boys and girls ages 10-18 and postgraduates. We prepare graduates for continued education in traditional day schools, boarding schools, colleges and universities.
