Washington, CT - After months of dedicated development and design, the Glen Ridge College and Employment Coaching Program website goes live at www.theglenridgeschool.org. Glen Ridge program is directed towards young adults with learning disabilities and Asperger’s Disorder. The program focuses on developing the skills needed to succeed in college, work environments and social settings. The program encourages and coaches autonomy in a safe, challenging and supportive setting. Glen Ridge is located near a grand selection of community colleges, universities and businesses in beautiful Western Connecticut.  

Glen Ridge incorporates academic supports, social skills, work and life coaching, a relationship building curriculum, and social development opportunities while fostering an independent lifestyle which leads to a successful career as part of life’s journey.

The Glenholme School, a Devereux Center, is an exceptional boarding school for students with special needs, which offers an individually prescribed learning environment with a steadfast academic curriculum. Using our effective individualized services, we apply a positive behavior support model focused on development of social skills and lifelong strategies for success. The school’s milieu therapy addresses varying levels of academic, social and special needs development in boys and girls ages 10-18 and postgraduates.
