The 2009 - 2010 Movie Club's cast and crew.
Washington, CT - The Movie Club is a year-long project in which Glenholme students work through an exciting movie-making process. It offers an excellent opportunity to build cooperation and teambuilding skills while encouraging creativity and challenging students to take on new roles. With three successful movies to their credit, the Movie Club takes on the challenge of filming their fourth original screenplay with the largest cast and crew in their history.

It’s evident the Movie Club was hard at work on location in Laurelholme, as filming of scene ten of the screenplay was underway.  The performers were practicing their lines, the crew readied the film location, and every member bustled about the set.  The Movie Club brings to life Remote Thinking, a delightfully funny, wacky and heartfelt tale of a young boy’s fantastic journey through a mysterious world. The entire Glenholme community awaits the premier of this highly anticipated production.

The Glenholme School, a Devereux Center, is an exceptional boarding school for students with special needs, which offers an individually prescribed learning environment with a steadfast academic curriculum. Using our effective individualized services, we apply a positive behavior support model focused on development of social skills and lifelong strategies for success. The school’s milieu therapy addresses varying levels of academic, social and special needs development in boys and girls ages 10-18 and postgraduates. We prepare graduates for continued education in traditional day schools, boarding schools, colleges and universities.
