Washington, CT - Every year the Glenholme Summer Program invites new students to experience the opportunity to expand their horizons through the Glenholme milieu.  As an exceptional learning environment for students with special needs, ages 10 to 18, the Glenholme Summer Program incorporates morning academics with an elaborate array of afternoon activities designed to strengthen social skills while boosting academic proficiency.

The 2010 summer program commences on July 5 and concludes August 20, with a minimum enrollment of three weeks. The many summer activities, which are available to all summer participants, include a wide array of customary on-campus activities, as well as week-long “travel camps.” A sampling of the on-campus activities includes the arts, drama, music, team sports, go-karts, equestrian program, and community service projects such as the Judea Community Garden. The week-long “travel camps” engage students off-campus in venues such as Cape Cod, Mystic Seaport, Williamsburg PA, golf adventures, a western equestrian experience at a traditional dude ranch, tent camping trips for boys and girls, and much more.
