Washington, CT - The Glenholme dance competitors stomped their heels in true “boot scoot and boogie” style for the third round of competition set to country music on January 27. Senior member of the Glenholme Grizzlies Dance Team, Jessica D, charmed the crowd of dance supporters in spectacular, southern style as she transformed into complete country character as the event’s host. All five dance teams met the challenge of choreographing a country dance magnificently and performed with great energy and enthusiasm.

Devereux's Diva Vampires captured this month’s top spot with their well choreographed performance to Shania Twain's "Honey I'm Home." The other teams performed fabulously to an energetic selection of country songs, including "All My Ex's Live in Texas" by George Strait, "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts, "All Things Considered" by Yankee Gray, and "Our Song" by Taylor Swift. The competition concluded to a gymnasium jammed with smiling spectators and competitors alike.

Watch for more in April as the teams kick up their heels high to the Broadway theme of the next competition, scheduled for March 17.
