Washington, CT - On Monday, November 23, Devereux Glenholme concluded their annual Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive in spectacular, holiday fashion. The month-long event, organized by Glenholme’s Community Service Program and their students, collected more than 2000 items through staff and family donations. The result was 10 complete Thanksgiving Day feasts; each included a hearty-size turkey and all the fixings including scrumptious cranberry sauce and corn muffins. Glenholme’s food drive is yet another noteworthy accomplishment given the modest size of the school's population.

The feasts brought holiday joy to VNA Northwest, Inc of Bantam and the families they care for.  A hearty congratulations goes to the entire Glenholme community on a job well done.

Devereux Glenholme is an exceptional boarding school for students with special needs, which offers an individually prescribed learning environment with a steadfast academic curriculum.
