Washington, CT - The annual Devereux Glenholme tradition of Troutbeck Parent Retreat took place in early November. The weekend event is designed to bring parents together to share experiences, learn new approaches and acquire an understanding for the Glenholme environment. Fourteen parents, along with several faculty members, enjoyed a beautiful New England weekend of sharing at Troutbeck in Amenia, New York.

The guests arrived at the resort on Friday, November 6 to an opportunity to greet old friends and welcome new families with an evening reception, delightful dinner and cocktails. The group gathered Saturday for a day filled with exciting opportunities for sharing experiences in several workshops including “Building Blocks to Success: How We Do What We Do,” “Planning for the Next Steps,” “How are Things Going at Home?” and “The Future.” In addition to  listening, learning, and sharing; parents and faculty enjoyed the culinary delights in concert with the exquisite surroundings of Troutbeck.

Glenholme’s Troutbeck Parent Retreat provides positive returns by developing bonds among parents and faculty; and carrying us forward into a promising future by establishing productive exchanges between parents and faculty.
