Representative Ed Staback recently presented Angela Beers of Devereux Pocono with a check for $10,000. Devereux Pocono offers services throughout northeast Pennsylvania including Lackawanna, Wayne and Monroe counties. Devereux provides a wide array of quality programs and services to individuals whose needs stem from intellectual and developmental disabilities. The funds will be used to purchase a vehicle to transport the individuals served to workforce developement services, community activities such as recycling, recreational activities such as bowling, Special Olympics, the movies and medical visits.
Devereux Pocono Center is located in northeast Pennsylvania. Its mission is to change lives and nurture human potential.
