(Washington, CT)

Devereux Glenholme Articles
Cruise and Shop Your Way into Supporting the Arts at Devereux GlWashington, CT -  Glenholme’s Development office has two exciting and enjoyable ways to continue the exceptional support for the construction of the Center for the Arts. Glenholme parent Monique Costable has coordinated one of these exciting opportunities through her travel agency, Great Escapes. Monique has reserved 200 cabins on the Island Treasures & Ancient Temples Cruise. The dates are February 13 - 20, 2010; during the school vacation. Prices range from $699 to $1699 per person and children under 17 are free!!

Monique will donate $100 for every adult reservation and all the proceeds from this cruise will be used for the ongoing construction of the Center for the Arts. Information was mailed to parents in early June. For questions, please contact Monique at (516) 826-4471 or GreatEscapesbyMarique@gmail.com. Pass along all of this exciting news to your friends, relatives and co-workers.

The second exciting opportunity shows how easy it is to support Glenholme’s Center for the Arts! You'll be amazed to learn you can raise money for the school while shopping at the same time! The Center for the Arts will become home to the Glenholme’s theatre, art, dance, and music programs. In addition, it will serve as the one venue on campus with ample space to accommodate the large events and performances in a truly authentic setting. Plans include a 199-seat proscenium theatre, classrooms, music practice rooms, art exhibition lobby, and faculty offices. The Center for the Arts will provide a safe and stable environment for exploration of the fine arts at Glenholme.

Over the days, weeks, and months to come the Development staff will continue to share the many exciting ways in which you can support Glenholme while enjoying yourself too.
