Washington, CT - Annually, Devereux Glenholme joins the daffodil sales effort benefiting the American Cancer Society. This year Ms. Sue Clark, history and economics teacher, and Ms. Pat Therault, science teacher, supported Glenholme students Reuben S., Harrison T., Will S., Chelsea C., Matt S., Andrew O., PJ V., James R. and Diego M. in their efforts to raise cancer awareness and support the fight against cancer. The team cultivated an exceptional campus-wide campaign by creating displays, donning daffodil attire and operating a direct door-to-door sales effort, which resulted in sales growth of over $1,500 for their cause.

Devereux Glenholme is an exceptional boarding school for students with special needs, which offers an individually prescribed learning environment with a steadfast academic curriculum. Using our effective individualized services, we apply a positive behavior support model focused on development of social skills and lifelong strategies for success. The school’s milieu therapy addresses varying levels of academic, social and special needs development in boys and girls ages 10-18 and postgraduates. We prepare graduates for continued education in traditional day schools, boarding schools, colleges and universities.
