Washington, CT - Devereux Glenholme’s 2009 Summer Program commences June 25 and concludes August 29. Students can choose from the full summer or one of two five-week sessions, either June 25 to July 27 or July 28 to August 29.

The summer program is an exceptional learning environment for campers with special needs. It provides a rich menu of fun and engaging camp activities designed to strengthen social skills while boosting academic proficiency.

The many summer program activities include a wide array of customary, on-campus activities, as well as week-long “travel camps.” A sampling of the on-campus activities includes the arts, drama, music, team sports, go-karts, equestrian program and color war. The week-long “travel camps” engage campers off-campus in venues such as Cape Cod, Mystic Seaport, Williamsburg PA, golf adventures, a western equestrian camp at a traditional dude ranch, tent-camping trips for boys and girls, the Appalachian Trail Community Service Project in Boston and much more.

For more information on the summer program at Devereux Glenholme contact the Admissions Office at or 860.868.7377.
