Georgia Middlebrook dedication.
Washington, CT - On September 18, 2008, The Devereux Glenholme School honored Washington resident, Georgia Middlebrook, for her unwavering support and loyalty with the dedication of a near mature-size cherry tree in her name. Glenholme’s executive director, Maryann Campbell commended Mrs. Middlebrook for her impact on the school; which began as a volunteer teaching horticulture to students in the early 1970’s and culminated as an influential board member.

Mrs. Middlebrook has been instrumental in the progress of Glenholme by providing her historical perspective, invaluable advice and expertise on countless occasions. She has imparted upon all of us the qualities of good citizenship and will remain a strong influence on our community. We are proud to call her a friend of Glenholme and delight in knowing we can call upon her when in need.

The Devereux Glenholme School is an exceptional learning environment and boarding school for young people with special needs. Ideal for students, ages 10-18 at enrollment, with varying levels of academic, social and emotional development. The goal is to prepare our students for continued education in traditional schools and higher learning environments.
