GRIZZLIES CAPTUREd SEASON HOME OPENER
The Glenholme Grizzlies captured their softball season opener in the Monday, May 9 match up against Grove School. Ahead at the end of the first inning, the Grizzlies never looked back. The crowd of supporters witnessed a high energy competition complete with picture-perfect pitching, incredible outfielding, acrobatic infield plays, and some brilliant batting and base running.

SPRING HUNT
The early spring weather brought a brisk chilly day to The Glenholme School for their Seventeenth Annual Spring Hunt on Saturday, April 16. A great gathering took place at Glenholme; toddlers, tots and adults stopped by to meet the Glenholme hare, who happily posed for some precious keepsake photos. Go to the full story >>
HEAD OF SCHOOL

Head of School is not the job for the faint-hearted, as it requires a touch of seriousness, a sense of humor, and lots of energy and enthusiasm. In May, two confident students took on the challenging role as Head of School and governed Glenholme successfully.

RAISE THE FLAG
Glenholme held it’s first-ever School Flag Contest in April 2011. Sponsored by the Student Council, every student was encouraged to enter and the response was nothing shy of sensational. Students used their art classes, after-school opportunities, and even their free time to create a dazzling design in hopes of winning this highly coveted contest.

SELMA CINCO DE MAYO FUNDRAISER
The students of Glenholme’s culinary program worked tirelessly during the week of May 2-6 in an effort to raise funds for a local charity. The culinary program introduces students to the intriguing and creative career possibilities of the culinary world. These students operate a café on campus, which serves lunch to staff and students as an essential part of their learning.

"JUST ADD WATER"
Several players of Yale’s improve comedy group, Just Add Water, mixed things up at Glenholme. The group, composed of some of the funniest and most daring undergraduates, created scenes, stories and even songs for an unbelievably rewarding stage performance on Wednesday, April 20. The improvisors relied heavily on the student audience suggestions in order to whip up their seriously entertaining segments on the spot.
