A HONKY-TONK HOEDOWN
Singing, heel-stomping and smiles were all happening at the Hoedown. The Equestrian students and staff galloped together an amazing honky-tonk style hoedown on Wednesday, October 20 for their second spectacular event of the month. They filled the new barn with lots of true country festivities including cowboy karaoke, western-style cattle roping, a heel stomping style photo booth, the tricky tin toss, happy hay dig and much more.

CURTAIN CAMPAIGN A CELEBRATED SUCCESS
The October Center for the Arts fundraiser, the Raise the Curtain Campaign, is a celebrated success. While construction on the building nears completion, fundraising efforts continue for Phase II with great fervor. Most importantly are the interior elements essential for the theater productions which remain to be funded and purchased for student performances.

EDUCATION OPEN HOUSE
Parents were greeted with exciting bulletin boards, engaging and informative SmartBoard presentations and much more at the 2010 Education Open House. The first Open House event of the year is an important time to establish communication between parents and teachers. A GHOULISH EVENING AT GLENHOLME
Bewitched beauties, diabolical doctors, and creepy creatures commanded a ghoulish evening at Glenholme’s Monster Mast. This annual Halloween-themed affair is a highly anticipated campus event with the preceding weeks filled with party preparations, designing costumes, and coordinating efforts. The colorful, creative costumes included several with the flare for the fantastic, made for some frightful fun for everyone. Full Story >>
RESIDENTIAL OPEN HOUSE
Many parents participated in the Residential Open House on Friday, November 5. Residential is the universal term Glenholme employs to cover the many wonderful aspects of the program. This open house provided parents a variety of opportunities to familiarize themselves with the school. Full Story >>
A REIGNING EVENT
Late last week, it was all grooming and glory for six students of the equestrian program. While the gloomy weather of November 5 urged them to change the gait of their outdoor program to an inside demonstration, they showed they can shine in any weather.

FINAL WHISTLE FOR FALL FUTBOL
The Glenholme Grizzlies soccer team faced tough competition and endured the ever-changing New England elements with tenacity and grace. The team’s participation in the September 11th Invitational Tournament at the Storm King School kicked off a fantastic season of futbol. Full Story >>
Center for the Arts Continues
Make a DifferenceAfter seven years of unwavering fundraising efforts and a star-studded groundbreaking event in May 2009 with James Marsden and Jessica Biel, Glenholme commenced construction on the  Center for the Arts on November 16. 2009. Although the construction of the building has started and fundraising for phase I has concluded successfully, the campaign continues for phase II of the project. Full Story >>
