On Monday, August 16 Glenholme culinary connoisseurs enjoyed a tasty treat. With the aid of Glenholme parent, Janet Livingston and her son, Sam; two special guest chefs, Johnny Iuzzini and David Arnold came to campus to inspire students with their talents and love of uniquely crafting culinary creations.

GRADUATES GATHER AT GLENHOLME
Graduates gather at the Glenholme School for the second annual Alumni Day on August 17, 2010. The largest return of graduates, former students, and parents enjoyed a leisure afternoon luncheon with staff and faculty where they reminisced, discussed ambitions, and exchanged ideas. Graduates also shared their experiences in an enlightening exchange with members of the Glenholme’s Class of 2011. Full Story >>
MUSIC MAN JR.: THE CROWN JEWEL
Glenholme’s gloriously entertaining, fun-filled performance of Music Man Jr. in their annual summer musical was by far their best musical to date. Based on Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man, the story is set in 1912 Iowa, tells the innocent and plainly moral tale of a charismatic conman redeemed by the love of a good woman. The performance was chock-full of well executed low comedy, glib romance, single-dimensional characters, and fantastically fun melodies filled with old fashioned lyrics.

SOCCER STARTS WITH AN EARLY KICKOFF
The soccer teams will be starting the season off early with a one day tournament at the Storm King School in Cornwall on Hudson, NY on September 11. Tournaments teach teamwork, there is no better way to get the ball rolling on a great season. Full Story >>
Center for the Arts Continues
Make a DifferenceAfter seven years of unwavering fundraising efforts and a star-studded groundbreaking event in May 2009 with James Marsden and Jessica Biel, Glenholme commenced construction on the long-awaited Center for the Arts on November 16. Although the construction of the building has started and fundraising for phase I has concluded successfully, the campaign continues for phase II of the project.
