Are You Building Your OWN Bounce?
Try this Strategy for a More Resilient You!
Remember, you cannot
change others, you can only change yourself!
You have limited time each day and need to prioritize what is
important. Take a few moments to list a
few things you really enjoy and that you want to continue to do. Now, list a few things that you need to stay
involved with, but have aspects that could be delegated. Finally, list a few things for which you need
to say “no” – either because they are too consuming, or no longer a
priority. Doing this will help you stay
focused, and maximize your strong Initiative!
Taken from Building Your Bounce, a DECI resource to
help adults reflect and plan for building their own resilience (available
through Kaplan www.kaplanco.com)
