CANINE COLLECTION |
The beautiful autumn Sunday of October 4 was the perfect setting as the grounds of Devereux Glenholme filled with students, families, faculty members, and friends from around New England to celebrate their bonds with man’s best friend. The 18 participants of Glenholme’s Sixth Annual Canine Collection took turns parading their precious pooches, demonstrating their canine’s uncanny capabilities, and sharing the details of their special bonds. Glenholme’s values are integrated into the program and are held in high regard among the students and faculty. While technology is also a large part of the school community it has been recognized that young people have developed new forms of communication while verbal and non-verbal communication has taken a back seat. This year marks our second year offering online learning to some of the students. The online courses offer students greater choice of course selection and opportunity to become comfortable with this learning format in a supported setting in anticipation of the college experience.
